NOTICE: Northbound 710 Freeway Closure in Long Beach, CA
Dear Business Partner,
The northbound of the 710 Freeway, near the Port of Long Beach, CA will be closed this Tuesday, February 13th, starting at 9:00 am PST, for roadway inspections. The service may take most of the day and is required for the underside of the Shoemaker Bridge, which was struck by an oversize load on a truck heading north on the 710 last month. The Shoemaker remains open with traffic on the northbound side restricted to the left lane. Those restrictions will continue until further notice.
Drivers should plan to use alternate routes from the Port of Long Beach to the northbound of the freeway.
